Sarah P. Ross says that pain is her inspiration and with all the suffering in the world, pain unfortunately is never scarce. Most of her poems tackle social issues, writing words that express what people must feel. Diagnosed as a Schizophrenic, Sarah has a natural ability to empathize as though it was really happening to her. To this author, “Viral,” is not only that which is massively spread, but also that which is somewhat perversely disturbing.
Before becoming disabled, for fourteen years Sarah stormed major radio markets as a disc jockey/personality, later to become a Broadcasting Vocational Instructor, then FM Station Manager. She received her education and training from VA Western Community College and The West Virginia Institute of Technology.
